Job Title: Benefits Administrator (Contract)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite - Near Downtown Phoenix)

Pay rate: Up to $31 per hour.
An established organization is seeking a Benefits Administrator (Contract) to support approximately 1,900 employees across multiple states. This is a highly visible, employee-facing role based onsite in the Phoenix office, ideal for someone who enjoys guiding employees through benefits, leave programs, and accommodations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits and leave programs
Manage a high-volume benefits inbox, interpreting requests and providing clear, timely responses
Administer leave of absence programs (20-25 active cases at any given time), ensuring compliance with multi-state leave laws
Support employees through leave, accommodations, and benefits processes with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
Collaborate with managers, including participation in roundtable discussions to provide guidance and support
Pull and review reports to support benefits administration and decision-making
Qualifications
Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs, including FMLA and related leave types
Strong understanding of accommodations and compliance requirements
Highly organized, process-oriented, and able to manage high-volume workflows
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working directly with employees and leadership
Experience supporting a mid-size to large employee population preferred

Prior experience in a similar, high-volume environment
